Earl Ladon Dansby

He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Clinton Dansby, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George E. Dansby, his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Mills, his sister, Geral Dansby Green, his sister-in-law, Roseann Dansby, and his brother-in-law, Charles L. Mills.

Mr. Dansby is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Olivia Mills Dansby, two sons, Charles Ladon Dansby and Michael Thomas Dansby (Allyson), four grandchildren, Dozier Alexandra Dansby, Parker Olivia Dansby, Patrick Cooper Dansby, and Crawford Thomas Dansby. He is also survived by a brother, Ronnie Dean Dansby, sister-in-law, Dianne Blaylock Mills, three nephews, George Scott Dansby (Angela), Robert Dansby Green (Kary), Robert Mills (Mandy), three nieces, Jennifer Mills Graham (John), Michelle Mills Click (Nathan), Jennifer Green Dickerson (Steven), and many great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 10:00 AM, Leak Memory Chapel in Montgomery, Alabama. A graveside service, with Minister Andy Hepburn officiating, will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Patrick Cooper Dansby, Crawford Thomas Dansby, George Scott Dansby, Robert Dansby Green, Sam Butler, and Leon Smith.

In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to the American Association for Cancer Research, American Heart Association, American Lung Association Airways Clinical Research Centers (ACRC), or the charity of your choice.
