Eddie Scott

Mr. Cecil E. Scott, 81, of Hope Hull passed away Monday at his home. He is preceded in death by his brother, Paul Scott and sisters, Laura Elizabeth Patton and Mary Frances Swanson. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Martha B. Scott; sons, Scotty Scott (Jean) and Jimmy Scott; and his brother, Jim Scott. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Leak Memory Chapel with Rev. Lawson Bryan officiating and graveside service following at Buena Vista Cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation will be held Wednesday night at the funeral home from 5-7 PM. Pallbearers will be friends of the family and honorary pallbearers will be members of the Roy Alverson Sunday School Class. Mr. Scott was a member of Hope Hull United Methodist Church for 38 years. After retiring from Montgomery Wholesale Floral Company he went on to operate his own floral design business through Scott Flowers. He was a beloved husband and father who will be loved and greatly missed.
