Edith Irene Long, 83, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015. A private memorial service will be held. Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her husband, Francis (Johnny) Long; and son, Francis (Frank) Long, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Gates (Chuck); son, Richard Long; granddaughters, Ashley Oberkirch (Benton), Brittany Compton (Clif); grandsons, Brandon Long and Corey Long; and great grandchildren, Natalie and Jackson Compton and Ethan Oberkirch.
