Edward Monroe Rawlinson Jr., age 87, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Sunday April 19, 2020. Ed was born August 31, 1932 in Elmore, Alabama. Living most of his life in the Montgomery area, he worked as a cook for various restaurants in town. A veteran of the Korean Conflict, Mr. Rawlinson was proud of the time he spent serving his country. He enjoyed square dancing as evidenced by his Distinguished Lifetime Membership of the Montgomery Area Square Dancing Association. Ed will be remembered making his rounds in his red truck and scooter within the Eastbrook community of Montgomery. A burial is set for the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo. A memorial gathering will be scheduled for a later date when social gathering bans are lifted.
