To all who commented on this page, thank you from the family.  Dad was a complicated man, capable of great love and compassion and equal amounts of aggrevation and frustration (lol).  But we all have feet of clay.  It is nice to remember the best of people.  I had a rare opportunity to be with dad the last six months here in Decatur.  We spent a lot of time together. But nothing means more to me than being able to pray with dad to make sure certain that Jesus was His Lord and Savior, and the last few days when I read from the bible to him when he was too weak to even speak.  I will see him soon enough.

Dr. Reeder was a witty and intelligent man and great dentist for me and my family as we grew up. I still have dentist to this day marvel that I have fillings he put in during my youth. Dr Reeder was my dentist during my youth at his office on the Atlanta Hwy and was very good at "calming down" a very scared boy! I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

I went to Dr Reeder's on the Atlanta Hwy for years during my youth and he was always in a good mood and made me feel everything would be alright!

Dr.Reeder was a dentist at Parris Island, South Carolina.  I worked as a tech while Dr. Reeder was in that clinic.  I'm sure you know he was a magnificent man and an excellent dentist.  When we ex-clinic mates talk about the good ole days and the dentist we most admired, Dr. Reeder is at the top of the list.  We will continue to remember him fondly.  Charles PInckney in Palo, Leyte

Dr. Reeder was an "extremely" interesting person, and I definitely see where his precious family acquired such "witty and compassionate" personalities! I shall always cherish my many memories of the "wild and crazy" stories that he so "seriously" shared when he was drilling on my teeth beginning at age 15. Much love to Melanie, Cameron, Bridgette and to the rest of the family who has has been continually blessed by his "unique" sense of humor. He brought many happy smiles to the world through his practice...but most importantly, he touched a multitude of hearts via the depth of his love for people! You all are in my prayers, and I just know that he will be having a lot of fun with Clay and all of the other angels until we are called to join the "Lord's Great Reunion" too!
