Edward Matthew White

Edward Matthew White, (38), died March 9, 2020. He is survived by his father, Edward C. White; mother, Carol W. White; his sisters, Stacy Lee (Rob) Husted and Kathleen Marie White; his great Aunt, Nan E. Cawby; and his half brothers, Jack White and Peter Wozniack. Eddie leaves behind many cousins and friends to cherish his memory.

Mr. White is preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward L. and Marian White, Wilmington, DE, his uncle, Ernest Bernard Marvin Cawby II, Lake City, FL and uncle, Eugene Blackwell. Eddie was a crew supervisor with Skychase Construction, Inc. where he put his Portuguese and Spanish communication skills to good use. Prior to his career here, he was on staff at a school for deaf in Brazil where he learned to speak Spanish and Portuguese. As a child, he enjoyed little league baseball but later in life, construction and his friends became his passions.

A visitation is set for Saturday, March 21, from 2:00 - 3:00 pm at Leak Memory Chapel with a funeral service following at 3:00 pm. Services will conclude with a burial at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery, 3001 Simmons Drive, Montgomery, AL.

Pallbearers for Eddie will be: Randy Patterson, Jonathan Sexton, Chase Caspari, Bryn Patterson, Jason Mardis and Damian Mayho.
