Liz Beaird born November 25, 1947 passed on October 29, 2012. Beloved wife, sister, mother & grandmother. Liz was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, Class of 1965. Liz was involved in many organizations and charities. Liz was past president of FAB club, past band booster president at Jefferson Davis High School, past president of Capital City Jayceyettes as well as past president of Bonnie Crest Country Club Ladies Golf Association. Liz is survived by her beloved husband: Michael Donald Beaird, Daughter Christine Griffin Horton (Lonnie), Daughter Amalee Griffin Segars (Trace); grandchildren: Catherine Elizabeth Griffin Segars, Sydney Elizabeth Horton, Taylor Kateland Crawford Segars, Virginia Robinsons Smith Segars, Matthew Lee Horton and James Wilber Segars, IV.
Graveside services will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery on October 31, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. A celebration of Life will be held immediately following at Bonnie Crest Country Club.
