Elizabeth "Beth" Hood Dickinson

She was born on September 25, 1944 in Charleston, SC. In 1962 she graduated from Banks High School in Birmingham, AL. Beth assisted her husband Bill in his business endeavors while making a wonderful home for him and their children. She loved jigsaw puzzles, dangling earrings, trips to the beach or anywhere near a casino, but most of all—family. She also enjoyed taking up the 50/50 tickets at Bama Lanes and visiting with all the bowlers; and she cherished her friends.

Beth was preceded in death by her father, A.J. Hood; mother, Gertrude Gerard Hood; and her sister, Trudy Godsey.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Dickinson; daughter, Terri Dickinson; son, Stacy Dickinson (Laura); grandchildren, Marcela, Jacob, Ashley, and Emma; brother-in-law, Max Godsey; along with Nieces and Nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Sunday March 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. The family will the receive guests at 340 Lamar Road in Hope Hull, immediately following the service.
