Elizabeth Renee Boroughs

Elizabeth Renee Boroughs, 52, a resident of Dadeville, AL, passed away on January 9, 2016. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 10:00AM – 11:00AM at Leak Memory Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 11:00AM with Rev. Tim Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Renee was a graduate of Auburn University of Montgomery with a degree in Geographical Information Systems/Anthropology. She loved the outdoors, especially when it came to archeology and meteorology. Renee’s final act of love was being an organ donor. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Renee was preceded in death by her father, Bill Boroughs. She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Griggs Boroughs; daughters, Heather Russell, Tiffany Mims (Paul), Samantha Pritzl (Ben); sister, Denise Dickey (Scooter); brother, Rob Boroughs (Jenny); grandchildren, Bralynd Russell, Ty Lewis, Krymson Lewis, Anna Mims, Alysa Mims, Addison Mims, Ashlyn Mims, Hayden Wilson, William Pritzl; and several nieces and nephews.
