FAULKNER, Elizabeth “Libba” Hasson of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016, at the age of 91. Libba was a charter member of McGehee Road Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. She was a cornerstone of the church and enjoyed fellowship with all members and visitors. Libba had a love of helping others and worked in women’s fashion for many years. She was married to the late James “Shorty” Walter Faulkner, Sr., and is survived by her children; James “Jimbo” Walter Faulkner, Jr., Robert “Bob” Hasson Faulkner, Elizabeth “Beth” Faulkner Easterling (Ben), eight grandchildren, two great daughter-in-laws, and two great-grandchildren. The visitation for Libba Faulkner is scheduled for Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Leak-Memory Chapel from 5 p.m. till 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Leak-Memory Chapel on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow at Alabama Heritage Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
