

Elizabeth Sharit Holley of Montgomery, AL went to be with the Lord on February 14, 2025. She was known as “Betty” from an early age residing in Montgomery AL, and graduated from Sidney Lanier High School and Auburn University, respectively. During her career, she worked for H.T. Fitzpatrick Attorney at Law as a legal assistant and was known for her exemplary work throughout the legal community. She served in various ministries at Morningview Baptist Church and was an active member there for over 50 years. She was a faithful servant of Christ opening her home to the community and serving those in need by delivering her famous cookies or preparing them a warm meal. She was noble, organized, a loving mother and was affectionally known as “Granny B” to all her grandchildren and to those that knew her best.
She is survived by her 3 sons- Lester Lee Holley III, Michael Benjamin Holley (Jenny), Richard Elon Holley (Denise); 7 grandchildren- Chad Holley (Crystal), Loren Rollan (Matt), Cole Holley (Robyn), Crystal Marr, Brandon Granger (Jessica) Andy Holley, Brittney Holley; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is proceeded in death by her father Sylvester G. Sharit, mother Mary Alden Sharit, and Daughter in- law Kem Henley Holley.
The pallbearers will be: Chad Holley, Tate Holley, Cole Holley, Jack Holley, Whit Holley, Matt Rollan, and Brandon Granger.
A graveside funeral service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery, AL on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
