Ena Mae Gafford "Mike"

Mike passed away March 2, 2017 at Baptist Hospital South after a short illness. She was fortunate to have lived a long and healthy life and she passed away peacefully on her last day.

She was the beloved mother of Jim Griner, of Jacksonville, Florida and Suzan Harris of Camp Verde, Arizona, and grandmother to Jeremy Griner, Allison Griner, Levi Harris and great- grandmother to Natalie Harris.

Mike is born in Harrison, Ar. to Raphael and Pearl Crank, but spent most of her early life in Oklahoma. She was a member of the Cushing High School class of 1944. She and her 2 sisters and 2 brothers all attended the same school. Of her 4 siblings her remaining brother James Cranke resides in Tulsa, Ok.

She is predeceased b husbands: Sam W. Griner, R. Lee Massey and Roy H. (Monk) Gafford. While living in Montgomery, She attended Whitfield Memorial United Methodist Church and had a host of friends there. She will be missed.

As anyone who knew her can attest, Mike loved animals, especially the squirrels in her yard. She adopted and raised three orphaned squirrels.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Saturday, March 11, 2017, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Rather than flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice, especially if they involve animal welfare.
