Ernest Paul Dent passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020 at the age of 68. He graduated as a draftsman from J.P. Tech and worked 25 years with Alabama DOT. He served our country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. His favorite hobbies included puzzles and telling dad jokes. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years, Deborah Dent and his father, Ernest G. Dent. Survivors include his daughter, Amanda D. Norris (Christopher); mother, Mildred Dent; sister, Arlene Pricer; brother, John Dent (Anga); as well as several cousins and many beloved friends.
A private graveside will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens in Montgomery. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Cottle, Taylor Dent, T.J. Pricer, Corey Pricer, Matthew Pricer, and John Dent.
