Eugene Mclemore

The most amazing man passed on to heaven at 9:30 pm on Friday evening, August 26, 2011, surrounded by the sounds of worship and hymns and the loving touch and embraces of family.

His family that celebrates his life are: his precious wife-Hellon Jean Slaughter McLemore, his son- Chuck McLemore and wife- Terri Thomas McLemore, his daughter- Becca McLemore Gillham and husband- Brad Gillham, his daughter -Jenny McLemore Cook and husband-Harris Cook, his sister- Patsy McLemore Bowman and her family Angie and Alan Davidson, grandchildren- Connor and Laura McLemore, Jason Cook, Yume P. Carrol and great grand children- Bradley and Grant Cook and Edison Carrol.

His heart beat with compassion, love for his family, the joy of music and the love of Christ Jesus. He leaves with us the legacy of commitment, finding laughter in life, loving your wife deeply, truly ministering and giving to others in Christ’s love and living a life that honors GOD.

He has fought the good fight, finished the faith and won the race! To GOD be the glory.

Funeral services held at Leak-Memory Chapel, Monday, 29 August, 2011 at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will precede the service from 11:00 – 12:00 at Leak-Memory Chapel.
