LaVern is survived by four sons; Tim Martin, David Martin (Peggy), Charlie Martin (Debbie); and Joe Martin (Charlotte); sister Sue Yeager; and dear friend, Ann Ragsdale (Glenn). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Rudy Martin; her father Thomas Burns and mother Frances Leola Burns; brother Tom Burns; sister Betty Motts; sister Tillie Mertzig and sister Rosella Hodges.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 19, 2018 at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a graveside service for Mrs. Martin at 12:00 PM in Greenwood Serenity Cemetery.
LaVern was a cosmetologist and also enjoyed baking and painting. She especially loved decorating cakes and spending time with her chihuahua, "Buddy".
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Welfare Fund at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in memory of Eva LaVern Martin.
