
Evelyn “Kathleen” Holliday Hale passed from this life on January 12, 2014, at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Viola Holliday, her beloved husband, Aubrey, as well as brothers; Jack, Skeet, and Coleman Holliday. Her memory will be cherished by those she left behind: Her son, Jim Hale and his wife, Nancy; her daughter, Barbara Campbell; grandchildren, Kathy Hale, Frank Hale and wife Suzanne; Beth Daniels and husband Bill; Amanda Jones and husband Mike; Reese Campbell and wife Tina; Andrew Sullivan and wife Keenan; and Aubree Carpenter and husband Keelan; and her great-children, Blane Campbell, Skylar Campbell, Tyler Jones, Ashley Jones, and Carter Daniels. Kathleen proudly served the young people of Montgomery with a long career in the public school system, culminating in her position as lunchroom supervisor of Lee High School for 25 years. In 2000, she received Lee High’s General’s Award for her dedication and years of service. She was a founding and devoted member of Highland Gardens Baptist Church, and a Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, chapter 180. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm, Thursday at Leak Memory Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery, AL. Condolences may be offered at www.leak-mc.com
