Evelyn Wilson

Mary was born in Coosa County, Alabama. She worked as an agent with Thompson’s Insurance for many years and attended Highland Avenue Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher. She was also a pro-life advocate.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Marvin Wilson; her sister, Patsy Waites; and her grandson, Johnathan Rooks.

She is survived by her children, Frank Pelt (Michelle) and Sandra Rooks (John); her grandchildren, Courtney Presley (Justin), David Pelt (Felicia), Erica Sanspree (Chris), Luke Pelt (Luisa), Robin Kollister (Mike), and Jeff Rooks; her great-grandchildren, Pierce Presley (Lauren) and Parker Presley, Baisha Pelt, Graves Pelt, Gage Varley, Grason Sanspree, Christopher Sanspree, Gracey Pelt, Christian Ferrera, Anthony Martinez, Cam Kollister, Katy Kollister, Colton Rooks, and Liam Rooks; her great-great-grandchild, Oliver Presley; and her sister, Eva Colquitt.
