Lance Corporal (Ret.) Everett K. Cole left this world suddenly on Friday evening, 9/1/2023. He was 74 years old. He leaves behind his wife of 53 years Alice Law Cole, daughters Tina Cole Campbell, Meloney (Eric) Gwin, and Helen Diboll as well as grandchildren Blane and Skylar Campbell, Zac Diboll and Parker Diboll, Cassidy, Hayley, Eaven, Nevaeh, Liah, and Mari Gwin, sister Pam Knight, and several nieces and nephews.
Everett was a proud Marine and loved GOD and country. He was very active in his home church congregations over the years, as well as USMC/MOPH groups.
The family has scheduled his Casual Marine/Hawaiian Celebration of the Adventures of Everett Cole at Vaughn Park church of Christ on October 7, 2023 with a visitation at 10:00 am. At 10:50 am there will be an Honors Salute out of doors. About 11:00ish, all will gather in the auditorium to share memories of The Adventures of Everett Cole.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Agape of Central Alabama (https://www.agapeforchildren.org/donate/), Heather’s House ( https://www.heathershouse.co/blank-4), or your favorite charitable organization in memory of Everett.
