She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. H.L. Dixon, Mattie Lee Jackson, husband L. Earl Smith Sr., son Gary D. Smith and a sister Dorothy Riggins.
She is survived by two children; son L. Earl Smith Jr. (Debra) and daughter Karen F. Smith. Grandchildren Faith Aids (Ryan), Isaac Smith (Shannon), Matthew Smith (Melanie). Great Grandchildren Schuyler Smith and Audrey Smith.
Graveside Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday Aug. 3, 2:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery.
