

Fred Mixion Clark, 76, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away in his sleep at home on the night of December 27, 2010. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2010, at Leak-Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd., Montgomery. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. and from 9-10 a.m. Friday morning at Leak-Memory Chapel.
Mr. Clark was born April 14, 1934, in Kinston, Alabama, son of the late S.G.B Clark and the late Annie Lou Clark of Kinston, Alabama. He retired from the Alabama Department of Revenue in January of '88 after 30 years of employment. He then went on to work with his wife and son at R & T Auto Sales from '88 to '98.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Willie Mae Clark; four children, Berry Clark (Kim), Destin, FL; Debbie Carter (Dennis), Gainesville, FL; Ronnie Clark (Melissa)Montgomery, AL; and Chris Clark (Vicki), Montgomery, AL; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Clark (Shirlene), Ozark, AL; one sister, Ruth Cain (Orlando); many nieces, nephews and extended family. Pallbearers will be grandsons Todd Clark, Jared Carter, Ryan Clark, Cody Clark, Drew Cunningham, Jeffery Elder, and Michael Virkus.
