
While at the age of 15 he got into a motorcycle wreck that was not his fault. A drunk driver hit his motorcycle from behind three times knocking him off of his motorcycle, causing him to hit his head and the impact knocked his helmet off. He was taken to the hospital and was in a coma for 48 days. When he awoke from the coma the wreck had caused him brain damage, short term memory loss and he could no longer use his right arm and had problems walking with his right leg. He was kind and liked to help people. He knew how to build a bicycle. He would joyfully cut his mother's grass for her.
He was preceded in death by his father James Carl Wright Sr., his stepmother Mary Ann Wright, grandparents W.J. Graham and Emily Graham, Uncle Jerry Mac Graham and his wife Betty Graham, cousin Rodney Graham.
He is survived by his mother Billie Lee Graham, sons James Carl Wright Jr., Daniel William Wright and a half brother James Anthony Wright (Mary Wright's son), nephews James Hunter Wright, Shawn Wright, Shane Wright, Sam Wright, Mason Wright, and niece Hanna Wright; cousins Debbie Dixon and her husband George Dixon and Wendy Donovan and her husband.
