Gayla Thibeault, 60, passed away on October 14, 2026. Born on July 15, 1966, Gayla will be remembered as a grandmother, mother and daughter by her family. A doting grandmother, she delighted in her grandchildren.
A graduate of Jeff Davis High School, Gayla found meaning and calm in creative expression. She enjoyed sketching and creating within arts and crafts, bringing patience and care to the work of making something by hand. She also took special enjoyment in collecting wolf and dolphin pictures in nature, drawn to images that reflected beauty, wonder, and a lasting appreciation for the natural world.
Gayla was preceded in death by her father, Raymond E. Thibeault. She is survived by her mother, Judy Shaver Thibeault; her son, Jared Blake Thibeault (Brittany Prickett); her grandchildren, Alyssa Blake Thibeault and James Axel Thibeault; and her brothers, Chad Eric Thibeault and Dan Allen Thibeault.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm on October 18, 2026, at Available Worship, 3033 Wetumpka Hwy., Montgomery, AL 36110.
