George David Poe

George is survived by; his niece Patricia Tatach-Crowson and his cousins; Floyd & Lila Massey, Karen & John Maddaloni, Pam Massey, Ruth Winfield, Della & David Stollenwreck, Lori Copenhagen, Sherri Clost, and Betty & Chester Lee.

George was preceded in death by his birth parents; Arvil & Lillie Massey Poe.

He will be remembered as one who worked at GoodWill for over 50 years, an active attender at Jackson Street Church of God and one who enjoyed his last days at Merry Wood Lodge in Elmore, AL.

A visitation for George will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:30 PM at Oakwood Annex, 1304 Upper Wetumpka Road, Montgomery, AL 36107.
