George was preceded in death by his son Randy Dale Trammell, his parents Wheeler Harrison Trammell and Annie Mae Sansom Trammell, and his sister Elizabeth Ann Trammell Minor.
He is survived by his daughters Lisa Marie Trammel and Shelah Ann Trammel Shiers; his sons Kenneth George Trammell, Jerry Wayne Trammell, and Ricky Lynn Trammell; and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109, on July 3, 2026, beginning at 10:00 am.
A family-only burial of his remains will be scheduled for a later date.
