Dad could wear so many hats! He was a full time Christian who loved and followed the Lord. He was very knowledgeable in so many areas and was always willing to help others with that knowledge. He was very generous and never required recognition! He was a loving family man. He so many times told me I brought sunshine to his day, that touched my heart, I will miss that. I will miss him so!! It was a privilege to call him my Dad, I thank God for that gift. I love you Dad!❤️

Condolences to the Cook family. Giles and I are first cousins. His daddy and my mama were brother and sister. I have not seen Giles for many years, but I knew he had been in the Air Force and I'm so glad we have the same Father God. It blessed my heart to know Giles loved the Lord and served Him. Giles was 12 years older then me, but I knew he was very smart and very handsome. Giles and I will meet again one day in our new home along with other family.

Gill Cook was such a great man. He was always asking me when I would sing again at First Assembly, always made my day. I could always count on him to give me a “great job singing this morning”. He will be greatly missed. Much love to all of the family.

My life is enriched by having known Brother Gil. When he, his wife, Sister Joyce, and her Mother were members and/or attending Bethel Worship Center (Formerly Bethel Assembly of God Church), I was running the Screen Projection part of the Media Center. He was instrumental in supporting that ministry. He also organized the Offertory procedures and was instrumental as a board member regarding church finances, church business practices, and church office automation.

Thanks much Brother Gil for being supportive to me, Bethel, First AoG, other churches, and the Entire AoG organization. I’ll miss you and many others will miss you also.

But, I’m looking forward to seeing you again Brother.

It has been a number of years since I last saw Uncle Giles and Aunt Joyce. What a great testimony to Christ that uncle Giles should be remembered "as passionate about the Lord"! To my Aunt Joyce, cousins Kris & Gary, and their families, Eve and I are praying for God's gracious comfort.
