Glen Ray Hinson, age 53 of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016. He was a lifelong resident of Montgomery and a former all-state high school basketball player. Later in life, he retired from the City of Montgomery. Glen was an avid Alabama Football fan as well as a collector of a variety of sports memorabilia. He is survived by his brother, Bob (Donna) Hinson; nephews, Rob (Leigh) Hinson, Steven Hinson, Reese Hinson; sister-in-law, Leigh Hinson; and other relatives and friends. A memorial gathering will be held from 6-8:00 PM, Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the residence of John and Donna Bowden; 6260 Oliver Dr., Montgomery, AL 36117.
