

Gloria Mae. Baudín, 89, formerly of Montgomery, AL peacefully passed to the heavenly realm at home on September 25, 2017 in Pensacola, FL. Gloria was a warrior as she fought and suffered from an extended illness for five years.
Gloria was born in New Orleans, La to Renee and Carol Blank on March 30, 1928. She is now in her heavenly home and happy with her late husband and soul mate, Henry J. Baudin and her grandson, Rhett Meadows.
Gloria was a beautiful, loving and thoughtful lady, mother, grandmother and friend. She was co-owner and worked with her husband, Henry, at their jewelry store (Baudin Jewelers) in Montgomery AL for over 20 years. She volunteered as the Monday Flower Lady for 23 years and the Church’s Prayer Chain at Trinity Presbyterian in Montgomery.
She received several awards from her church for her dedication and devotion. She was so loved by many and her smile and laugh will always stay with us. She will be sorely missed but will always be in our hearts and our sweet memories of her.
Survivors include her only child, Wendy Baudín, her granddaughter, Whitney B. Meadows and great-grandson Elijah Meadows of Pensacola FL; her grandson, Robert J. Meadows and great-granddaughter Lily Nicole of Port Orange, Fl.
A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in the chapel of White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home from 9:45am-10:45am followed by a Celebration of Life Graveside Service in Greenwood Cemetery at 11:00am. Pastor Mike Howell will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her beloved church, Trinity Presbyterian Church Montgomery Al; or Children and Animal support and protective agencies; or your favorite foundation.
