He was retired military, serving in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1971.
He will be missed by his children Terri Henderson (Ralph) of Clearwater Fl, and Everett Harpe of Lufkin, Tx; grandchildren Megan Mills (Kelvin) of Newnan, Ga and Matthew Payne (Shan) of McDonough, Ga; and 2 great grandchildren, Kyley Mills and Delilah Mills of Newnan, Ga.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home with a public visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will follow immediately in Greenwood Cemetery with military honors.
