LeRoy, Gwen Violet “Bam Bam”, 90, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 1:00PM – 3:00PM at Leak Memory Chapel. Graveside services will be at 3:00PM at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Payne officiating. Mrs. LeRoy was born in Portsmouth, England. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be deeply missed by all that knew her. She was a volunteer for many years with the Montgomery Mental Health Association. “Bam Bam” was an avid Alabama fan, and loved to watch her Crimson Tide. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Byrd LeRoy; daughter, Linda Byrd LeRoy; and great grandson, Robert Tyler Butts. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia V. LeRoy, Suzanne McClendon, Judy Alice Butts; grandchildren, David Butts (Kristina), Ashley Limbaugh, Shelby Smith (Ken), Michelle Crumbley (Jerry), Paul McClendon (Wendy); and twelve great grandchildren. “ROLL TIDE”
