There’s so many great things I can say about dad. Most importantly he was a kind, generous man who always wore a smile. He never met a stranger and you could fill a stadium with folks he never met before but would strike up a conversation just to be neighborly. Dad was a great husband to mom and caring father. Mom and dad were best friends which is rare these days. A Honest, fair, gentle soul that loved his family and friends. I can’t think of a higher compliment one can bestow on another human being. He set the bar high and We should all strive to live by the standard he set. Quite simply he was my hero and will be sorely missed. Dad would not want us to be sad but instead celebrate him and remember the good times and there were so many! Rest in peace dad.
Your loving son Scott.

Tommy and I was so sorry to hear about Gordon passing. Linda, Hal and Scott have our prayers and love. Gordon was such a sweet person and seemed to always be happy and smiling. Love to Gail, Rob, Dennis and Guy and their families.

Oh, no! Gordon was "one of us" back in the 60s; dated my friend Sandra. I contacted his moving company in 1998 (not knowing his connection until he took the call) to move me to Deer Creek and saw him for the first time in about 20 years. He was such a nice person. We "caught up" on friends. He didn't know about Sandra's death. He talked about Linda and his kids. Over the last few months he and others "have come to mind." My sympathies to the family. I wish that I could go to visitation.
