Hani W. Bosheh passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at the age of 67. He is survived by his loving wife, Mona Bosheh; his children, Wade Hani Bosheh, Lena Remona Bosheh; his sisters, Cecil Kareh, Samya Habash, Mary Bosheh, Hala Bosheh, Amal Swelem; his brother, Sammy Bosheh, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Fuad Bosheh. Hani was born in Beirut, Labanon, and attended an Anglican school there. He loved learning and excelled as a student and earned a full scholarship to the American University in Beirut where he studied chemistry and physics. He had a sharp analytical mind and a photographic memory. Hani was fond of mathematics, chess, logic puzzles, Arabic poetry, politics and Arabic music including classics by Fairouz. Upon marrying Mona, he moved to the states in the mid- 1970s, where he owned and managed a series of successful menswear businesses. Early in his career, he owned and managed GQ Menswear, On Time Fashion, & Giorgio’s which were all situated on Dexter Avenue in downtown Montgomery. His longest and most successful business was Oxford Street Menswear, LLC which he owned and managed for over 30 years. The business began in the Montgomery Mall and then eventually moved to the Eastdale Mall, before being briefly rebranded as Suit City Warehouse. At Oxford Street, Hani was known for selling a wide variety of formal and semi-casual menswear and drew customers from surrounding areas. He was respected by many well-known customers who would often recount purchasing their first suit there. Hani was loved by all of his friends and family, enjoyed joking around, and was an extrovert who loved people. As the second youngest son to Mr. & Mrs. Bosheh, he was deeply loved by all of his family who still recount fond memories of him and his achievements despite being separated from them for over 30 years. Hani was able to go visit his family in Ammam, Jordan twice. Services will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019, at 11:00am at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation with visitation one hour prior at the church.
