Harold Jason Brown

Jason was a compassionate and creative soul. His interests included art; animals; film; music; Alabama football; family and friends; and, trips to the beach and family farm. His greatest passion and accomplishment was being a father and loving his precious daughter, Scarlett Ann Brown.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Brown. He is survived by his father, Harold Brown; sister, Christy Brown; daughter, Scarlett Brown (Riki and Isabella); grandmother, Shirley Hood; first cousins, Jessica Brown Parker and Stephanie Brown Parris; his beloved labradoodle, Hatfield; and, many other loving family members and friends.

Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Jay Wolf on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 10:00 am at Leak Memory Chapel. The family will receive guests beginning at 9:00 am and the burial in Greenwood Cemetery will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for memorials to be made to the American Cancer Society or First Baptist Church of Montgomery, AL.

The family also would like to extend gratitude for the dedication of Jason's extensive medical team during his long battle with cancer and the Amedisys Hospice team for providing care, comfort, and guidance during in his final days.
