There are people that come into your life for a reason & Ron Majors was a great role model of a father. He was able to show me how a father can be someone to enjoy being around as much as respect his authority. He taught me that a man can be tender & kind. He always made me feel like he was someone I could actually trust through some very impressionable years. He (& Miss Diane) taught me the true value of being a good parent. Your legacy of love will live on to the future generations...one of which is mine.

This whole week has been a blur... I know that I don't feel the pain as much as the family, but it hurts just as bad to watch you all go through this. Mr. Ron was a special person. He was probably the only avid Auburn fan I could stand to be around for more than 2 minutes! :) When I think about him, I see him and Mrs. Dian walking into my hospital room, and I remember him saying, "Hey kiddo...you gotta get better and get out of here!" It meant the world to me that these precious two people took the time to come see me when I needed people the most. The Majors family holds a special place in my heart. I love you all!

Dear, Dian  it was a shock when  Scott let us know what had happened.  We know that Ron is with God as he has served him well.  If you know of anything we can do pleased call on us.

I don't know if Scott let ya'll know our puppy broke to dics in his back.  I also, fell and hurt myself.

There was only one Ron Majors; I don't remember many times that he didn't have a smile on his face, he loved to laugh.  I know he loved you, Dian and I kept waiting to see an iron on the floor in one of the pictures; he loved to tell that story among others.  Dian, I feel for you and the loss you are and will experience, just hope you can think of the good times and the good stories. I shouldn't say this, but I will anyway:  I know he was looking forward to Christmas Eve.  Like I said, he was full of stories, some you could believe and others you might say were questionable.  I'm so thankful for Ron and Dian's visit to our home in the past few months; more treasured memories.  God bless all of you and the loss you are experiencing.  I must not stop without saying that I know how proud he was of his grandson, I guess that was the son he didn't have until he was born.  He loved all of his family but I think the grandson must have been special.  I look forward to meeting him.  Love to all of you, call or email at any time.  We're here for you. My husband enjoyed his talking and visiting with him...always remember all the 
pizzas and cokes he liked!!  The many times you visited while in San Leandro,
especially the trip returning home with your trailer from Fairbanks with all the girls...it was such a wonderful visit telling about your life in Alaska.
I so enjoyed his e-mails and contacting me.  Bob has been 15 years and if I remember Bob's Memorial service was held Dec 12, 1995.  It has been a journey and without the church I couldn't of handled it alone as well as I know Dian and family would not be able to.  Dian my prayers are with you and sorry I am not close by to be with you.  I will keep in touch and hopefully you will continue with the e-mails as Ron did!  It is such a blessing that he went to see the Lord and my Bob and he should be having a talking feast.

Dian, My brother Tim just called to tell us about Ronnie. We were really sorry to hear about his passing. Deb remembers visiting you guys right after we were married in '64. Of course my memories go back to at least to 1950. You and the rest of the family will be in our prayers.
