Hazel Wilson Whitehurst

Hazel Wilson Whitehurst, 84. Born March 14, 1928, went home to be with the Lord, July 20, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, David L. Wilson, Sr. and Clara Hayes Wilson, her husband Adrian W. Whitehurst and brothers David L. Wilson Jr., Bryant Wilson, and Chester Wilson. She leaves to cherish her memory two sisters Sybil Jenkins (Union Springs) and Jewel Henderson (Montgomery). Two Children, Marie (Allen) Clegg of Dothan and Kenneth (Kathy) Whitehurst of Montgomery. She had 7 grandchildren Kristopher (Kelly) Whitehurst, Joshua Whitehurst, Amy (Jerry) Smitherman, Courtney Clegg, Kasey (Jamie) Schultz, Katelyn (Griffin) Scarbrough, and Paige Whitehurs;.8 Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and special friends. In lieu of flowers her wishes are that donations be made to St. Luke UMC (Montgomery) food bank ministry or to your favorite charity . Funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Leak-Memory Chapel with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. A visitation will be Monday from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
