KELLEY, Helen L. (Wells), 89, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, died Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Crowne Health Care. Services will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018, with visitation at 10:30 a.m. and Chapel service at 12:00 noon at Leak Memory Chapel, with Rev. Randy Bush officiating. Following the service, burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Sheila Kelley and Donna Kelley Norris, Montgomery, AL; one grandson, Ryan Norris (Emily) and two great-grandchildren, Caden Norris and Lilly Kate Norris, Auburn, AL; one brother, Curtis L. Wells (Rachel), Montgomery, AL; and, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, S. David Kelley; her parents, Oscar and Bessie Wells; and one brother, Otis Wells. She was a long-time member of Highland Gardens Baptist Church, teaching Sunday School classes and singing in the choir.
The family would like to send their sincere gratitude to the nurses, aides, and other staff members at Crowne Health Care of Montgomery. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Disease Research.
