Anyone who knew Helen knew she never met a stranger. She was a friend to one and all and welcomed all into her home. She loved her family dearly and delighted in their visits. She loved sewing, working jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, sudoku puzzles, playing card games, cooking for friends and loved ones, bargain hunting at thrift shops, taking walks, reading, watching birds, working in her vegetable garden, visiting with friends and family, and going to church. She had a servant’s heart and always provided her delicious casseroles for those walking thru the loss of loved ones. She was a jack of all trades and could figure out how to fix just about anything. She was straightforward and said what she meant and meant what she said. She hugged her family and friends each time she saw them. She was quick witted and truly one of a kind. She lived her life well and loved to the maximum; she leaves a legacy of caring and love.
