I was so sorry to hear of Helen's passing. my friend Nancy and I came to visit her when she lived in Montgomery and when she moved into the assisted living center. I remember her telling us that we were on the list to call if something ever happened to her. I was on vacation today and thought of her and searched to find her and instead I found her obituary. Helen and I worked next to each other at Scott Air Force Base for 3 years. We shared recipes, travelled a few times together and had dinner parties. We even planned a great toga party one year. She was a gracious lady and I feel proud to have been her friend.

What a gracious lady she was. I am sorry I did not learn of this until now. She was worthy of my paying her respect at her memorial.
