A word about our POPS.
January 19,1935- July 16,2013

He was and still is a wonderful man. He will be missed here in this world we live in, but will continue touching lives as his loving, caring, compassionate legacy lives on. He is in a better place looking down on us and this business hoping and praying that it will continue to succeed as he did each and everyday he woke up. He put all efforts into Fatman's BBQ as he did in every endeavor he took on in life. Our pops touched so many lives during his time that God allowed him here. Please don't grieve over Pops as he would not want that. Just put all effort into making sure HIS customers are treated with the utmost respect as he did each and everyday he put foot into our business.

He passed peacefully, in his favorite chair, without suffering, while taking an afternoon nap. Again our POPS will be missed

I had the wonderful blessing of knowing Mr. Allen for 7 years. He was affectionately known as "Pops" from everyone who knew him.
"Pops" was very simple kind man with a heart of gold. My sincerest condolences go out to Ken and the rest of his family.
