Houston & Cathrin Scroggins

Cathrin Wilkerson Scroggins and Houston Ray Scroggins passed away at home surrounded by family on Saturday, October 31, 2020 only a few hours apart. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 1:00pm at Greenwood Cemetery with Brandon Scroggins officiating. Survivors include their children, Kimball Scroggins (Jane), Ray DeVaughn Scroggins (Teresa), Nicole Bonifay (Bo); grandchildren, Jonathan, Courtney, Brittany, Abby, Jay, Brandon (Kristy), Will, Ryan, Jonathon, Cheyanne (fiance’, Alex and his sister, Micha) ; great grandchildren, Harlee, Micah, Owen, Colby; daughter-in-law, Billie Scroggins; and their siblings, Mary Lousie Wilkerson, Elnora Austin, Jerry Scroggins (Jan), Shirley Roney. They were preceded in death by their son, Wendell Scroggins; their parents, Louise Price & Sonny Wilkerson and Phoebie & Harvey Scroggins; and their brothers, Victor Stafford, Jackie Stafford, and Charles Wilkerson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Reformation Baptist Church, Wetumpka. The family would like to extend a word of thanks to Jennette Hardin, Jean Guy, Gay Mims, and Gail Babston for their love, care and support during this time. The family would also like to give a special thank you to Valerie and Callie Bennett for taking such good care of our Mom & Dad. We have become so close with them they have become part of our family.Pallbearers will be Jay Scroggins, Alex Coker, Brian Upchurch, John Godwin, Scott Tomlinson, and Mike Cantrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Scroggins and Will Scroggins.
