Mr. Howard Lee Hill, age 85, of Montgomery passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the family residence. A private graveside service will be held at 11 am on Monday, July 26, in Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. Paul Spargo officiating. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm Monday, July 26, at Calvary Baptist Church, 8197 Decker Lane, Montgomery with Bob Coon officiating. The family will receive friends at Leak Memory Chapel Funeral Home Sunday, July 25, from 3 until 5pm. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by one sister, Nadine Hill Shaner, two grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is survived by his loving wife, Lucy Hill; two daughters, Cheryl Hill Taylor (Jim) and Glenda Hill Coon (Bob); one son, Richard Hill (Carol); brothers, John Hill (Zelma), Robert Hill (Mildred); one brother-in-law, Asa Ray Shaner; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
