Hugh enjoyed drag racing, fishing, and hunting in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Molly Meeks; his daughter, Daphne Danae Meeks; his sister, Sandra Meeks Sullivan; and his parents, Hubert Meeks, Sr. and Nancy Meeks.
He is survived by his son, Hugh Meeks III (Deidra); his grandchildren, Jordyn King (Connor King), Hannah Stephenson, and Courtney Stephenson; and his great-grandchild, Collier King.
A celebration of life committal service for Hubert will be held Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery, 3001 Simmons Dr, Montgomery, AL 36108.
