Hugh Thomas Myrick Sr. of Ramer, Alabama passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Born to Waller and Maggie Myrick, he spent most of his life in the Ramer area. He is predeceased by his wife of 69 years, Mary Myrick; but survived by his children, Hugh Thomas Myrick Jr., Benjamin Thomas Myrick Sr., and Thomas Edward Myrick; his grandchildren, Benjamin Thomas Myrick Jr., William Myrick, Maggie Myrick, Elizabeth Chavers, Gail Myrick, Samantha Myrick, Savannah Heartsill, and John Myrick, as well as many great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
A hard worker, he laid tile and farmed. He will be remembered as one who loved the land and country living. His legacy will continue through his sons and many grandchildren.
A graveside for Hugh will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Forest Hills Cemetery, 9504 US-331, Montgomery, Alabama 36105.
