

James Fredrick Adams, age 62, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James & Estelle Douglas; and his aunt, Ann Wells (Gene). Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Patricia “Patti” Garro Adams; children, James Adams (Kim), Christopher Adams (Ashley); grandchildren, Dozier and Parker Dansby, Conner, Weston, and Granger Adams; mother, Mary Estelle Burgin; father, Henry Adams (Carol); as well as a host of nieces, nephews and their children.
Jim was an excellent carpenter and cabinetmaker and he loved his work family at Bishop Cabinets where he was employed for over 25 years. He served our country in the US Air Force. Jim enjoyed cooking, fishing, and entertaining people. He loved to watch soccer, Nascar, and Auburn football. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who loved him.
A private celebration will be held by the family at a later date.
