He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Charlotte Collum; father, Fletcher Collum; mother, Joyce Knowles Collum; brother, Edwin Collum and sister, BJ Stephens.
James is survived by his daughters, Amanda Collum, Brook (David) Smith, Connie Markwell; grandchildren, Tyler White, Harleigh Collum, Eryn Thomas, Emilee Thomas and Aiden Markwell; sisters, Nora Preston; brother in laws, Steve Preston and Stacy Stephens and niece, Misty Dykes.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Leak Memory Chapel from 1PM- 2PM, with a
Celebration of Life service to begin at 2PM. Burial to follow at Greenwood Serenity Gardens.
Pallbearers will be David Smith, Scooter Bodiford, JC Dykes, Steve Preston, Jay Johnson and James Henderson.
The family would like a special thanks to the nurses and doctors that took care of Perry at Baptist East Hospital.
