He was preceded in death by his parents James Willard Herron and Bonnie Lucille Cowart Herron. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Carol Herron; one son, Sonny Herron and his wife Amber; two daughters, Dawn Little and her husband Mike, Leigh Sasser and her husband Lanny; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda McClelland, Cynthia Hite and her husband Al.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his honor to the American Heart Association.
