James H. Hopkins, 82, passed away on April 9, 2018. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. James was born in Lynn, Alabama, on November 8, 1935. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Jan Hopkins; parents, Elton Quinton Hopkins, Audie Norris Hopkins; brothers, Ralph Hopkins, Hillard Hopkins, Robert Hopkins, Jason Hopkins, Edwin Hopkins; brothers-in law, Gary Keeton and Jerry Emberg.

James is survived by his daughter Debbie Hopkins Young (Chuck); a son, Randy Hopkins (Donna); grandchildren, Brad Young, Eric Young, Austin Young, Doug Hopkins, Brandon Hopkins and Loren Hopkins; great-grandchildren, Charlie Young and Jack Young; five sisters, Sybleen Terry, Mavis Emberg, Hilda Jackson (Jimmy), Cathy Adkins (Harold), and Cynthia Keaton as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Celebration of Life service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eric Young, Austin Young, Doug Hopkins, Brandon Hopkins, David Berlin and Jacob Berlin.
