Mr. James Oscar Ledbetter Jr., 93, of Tallassee, Al., passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. He was born on March 7, 1925 in Birmingham, Al. He is survived by his wife, Clara Whitson Ledbetter; sons, James Calvin Ledbetter (Kathy) and Paul Eric Ledbetter (Lissa); Daughter-in-Law, Linda Ledbetter; Grandchildren, Brian Ledbetter (Jill), Toby Ledbetter (Vivian), Christopher Ledbetter, Matt Ledbetter (Janey), Randall Ledbetter (Leslie) and Carmen Ledbetter; and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Inez Ledbetter; a son, Arthur Peyton Ledbetter and a grandson, Joshua Paul Ledbetter. A public visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 11:30am-12:30pm in the chapel of White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home located at 909 Lincoln Rd. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12:30pm. A committal service will follow immediately the Celebration of Life service in Greenwood Cemetery. Minister John Gray will be officiating.
