James served with distinction in the Army during Desert Storm. After his military service, he pursued his passion for carpentry and enjoyed working as a handyman. In his leisure time, he found joy in fishing but was known for his karaoke and dancing skills too.
James is survived by his former wife, Jackie Scott, and his son, Kevin Dudley, along with his daughter-in-law, Makenna. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Saylor Meyers and Creed Dudley. He is also survived by his brother, Michael McCluskey, and sisters, Gigi Meckler (Ron) and Jackie Banks (Bob). His sister-in-law, Maryanne McCluskey, also mourns his passing. James leaves behind four nephews, two nieces, four great-nephews, three great-nieces, as well as many cousins and other extended family members.
James was predeceased by his parents, Francine and Donald McCluskey, and his brother, Joseph McCluskey.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be scheduled for a later date.
