Mr. James Leon Trant, a resident of Luverne, Alabama for 60 years, died on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Luverne Health & Rehab. He is survived by two stepchildren, Gladys Johnson (Royce) and Allie Gene Turman (Lorene), three brothers – Carl, Charles and Daniel Trant, 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 16 great/great grandchildren and 1 great/great/great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Mary Frances Trant, his parents – James Frank & Olga Lee Trant and one granddaughter, Virginia Nell Sexton. On Friday, September 26, there will be a visitation from 10 to 11 at White Chapel in Montgomery, Alabama and a graveside service at 12 Noon at Forest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Snowdoun, Alabama.
