James Franklin Vance, Jr., 73, (USAF, Ret.), a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 1:00PM – 2:00PM at Saint Jude Catholic Church. A funeral mass will begin at 2:00PM and burial with military honors taking place following the service at Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Vance is survived by his wife of 26 years, Cristin T. Vance; children, Veronica Vance (Michael Reeves), Aaron Vance, William Vance; grandson, Joshua Reeves; granddaughter, Evelyn Reeves; brother, Robert Vance; sister, Caroline Heid; and sisters-in-law, Cholita Hix and Luisita Dorsey. Mr. Vance was born in Washington, DC. He retired with over 43 years of service from the U.S. Air Force, working as a computer specialist.
